Almost all of these offer party packages, so look no further if you’ve got a birthday or special occasion coming up. Most centers also contain an arcade or other form of entertainment to keep everyone entertained for hours on end!

1/ Battle House

Address: 1817 Hall Drive, Wilmington, NC,28405

Phone Number: 910-434-5544

Battle House in Wilmington is the place to go for high-tech tactical laser tag. At 10,000 feet, their arena is huge and has been designed to look like an urban tactical combat arena.

It’s made up of two stories and contains several catwalks. Imagine what it would be like running through an abandoned city with a discarded bank, homes, and even vehicles. Battle House has replicated that indoors and added laser tag!

There are several types of incredibly realistic guns to choose from. A few of their laser tag gun weapons include an AK-47, a shotgun, and a submachine gun. Just remember, the weapons are only available on a  first come first serve basis, so you better arrive early so you can get exactly what you want.

There are several different missions available. Each party gets to play 5 to 7 missions so you can have fun seeing which missions you like best.

Players can choose from three different missions; The Search & Destroy, Hacksaw Ridge, and Domination. Each mission requires different skills and tactical strategies. You won’t want to leave until you’ve mastered all three missions!

Battle House says that their establishment is for all ages, although we feel like older players would appreciate the specificities of the arena, missions, and quality of the gear more. However, there is a parent hang out area just in case, parents can watch their children play on monitors and relax while enjoying a selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.

2/ Jungle Rapids

Phone Number: 910-791-0666

Address: 5320 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC

Jungle Rapids is more than just a water park. It also has an awesome laser tag arena decked out with smoke machines, bright lights, and even a maze!

What makes playing laser tag at Jungle Rapids special is the membership card players can get. Not only does this card help save you money, but it also keeps track of your stats and lets you choose an avatar and code name.

It’s the perfect combination of real-life laser tag fun and video games. You can even check your stats online at home. Members also get access to exclusive games to play in the arena.

We love that they’ve made this laser tag experience super kid-friendly and have specifically put “No Profanity” in their rules.

The venue is a mix of a spaceship and a maze. We can see children stalking their opponents, pretending they are aliens from another dimension who’ve landed on Earth in a giant UFO.

Every Friday this Fall, Jungle Rapids is turning the laser tag venue into “ToRmEnT Haunted Laser Tag”. It is Wilmington’s only haunted laser tag arena, and you won’t want to miss out on it!

Players can expect to be spooked and scared while trying to complete their mission.

The establishment also offers mini bowling, go karting, rock climbing, mini golf, and of course, a waterpark. That means you can go for the laser tag, and stay for hours of fun afterward, too!

3/ Planet Fun Center

Address: 349 Whiteville Road Shallotte, NC 28459.

Phone Number: 910-755-2386

Planet Fun Center is a quick drive away from Wilmington and is well worth it. Their Space Quest Laser Tag consists of black lighted two levels that look incredible and we know you’ll love it.

You can expect lots of glowing lights, lots of energy, and a great time. Lots of customers of all ages enjoyed the laser tag, so it would be a great place to go as a family.

There have been several accounts of parents taking their kids there during a rainy day or as a weekend treat and loving it.

We also appreciate that Planet Fun also has an arcade and bowling, so customers can play laser tag to their heart’s content then move on to other forms of entertainment at the establishment.

We weren’t able to find anything about the missions they offer, so don’t be surprised if you end up playing as an individual instead of as a team. That just means you get the work on your aim and agility!

A laser tag game is relatively affordable compared to other establishments around the country which means families on a budget can still enjoy a game or two.

Planet Fun also serves yummy foods like wings, chicken strips, and fried mushrooms. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of beer for the adults, too!

4/ Glo Mania Lazer Tag

Address: Jacksonville Mall 375 Western Boulevard Jacksonville, NC 28546

Phone Number:  910-353-0163

Not too far from Wilmington lies Glo Mania Lazer Tag, a fun-filled entertainment center decked out with a laser tag arena fit for the young and not-so-young. The venue is designed to look like an urban city that has seen better days. There’s a bank, a train station, and plenty of crates and barrels that suggest the end of the world is either coming or already happening.

Glo Mania Lazer Tag takes the ‘glo’ part of their name very seriously. The arena’s murals glow in the dark and so do the guns and vests.

If you decide to throw a birthday party there, except glowing cups and plenty of glow sticks to light up the table. They really do go all out!

Kids and parents love this place, and it’s easy to see why. They consistently deliver on providing a great laser tag experience.

Customers love that you can get unlimited play passes and that they also serve food and drinks. If laser tag isn’t your thing, or if you’re also interested in other games, Glo Mania Lazer Tag also has an arcade.

Who knows? You might even walk away with a really awesome prize like a small speaker or stuffed animal!

They also offer party packages for laser tag that are even available outside of normal business hours. Packages include zombie-themed and Fortnight-themed packages. If your kids are a bit older, they also have a teen party package available!

5/ Battle Works

Address: 1010 W Fort Macon Rd, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512

Phone Number: 252-515-1074

If you’re leaving Wilmington and have some time to stop at Atlantic Beach, why not swing by Battle Works for a game of laser tag? To start, their arena is 12,000 feet, which is incredibly large.

They’ve really gone all out making their arena as realistic as possible! You can expect to play in multiple rooms, bunkers, a full office cubicle, and vehicles. The entire venue is outside, so make sure to dress appropriately and bring plenty of water if it’s hot.

Because Battle Works offers tactical laser tag games, each round lasts an hour and can be played with up to 18 people at once. There is even a live leaderboard ranking happening as you play which helps players prioritize what moves to make next in order to become the ultimate combat champion.

The laser tag guns are also impressively realistic. Instead of going the more traditional route of brightly colored light-up guns, Battle Works supplies its players with weapons that look almost exactly like the real deal.

Every game is mission-based and there are 25 different missions to choose from. In-game achievements during a mission will help boost leaderboard rankings. The good news is the hour playing times give all the players a fair chance at working their way up the board and towards victory!

Battle Works also offers axe throwing which customers also really enjoy.

One rule to keep in mind before going is that players must be wearing closed-toe shoes and be at least twelve years old in order to play
