Laser Tag Centers in South Bend

So, if you haven’t made plans for the weekend yet, now couldn’t be a better time to read up on your options and start deciding on where to spend your Saturday!

1/ Generations AdventurePlex

Address: 1018 West Edison Road Mishawaka, IN 46545

Phone Number: 574-855-1095

If you’re looking for a lot of fun for a great price, look no further! Generations AdventurePlex offers a transportive laser tag experience that won’t disappoint.

From the light-up vests and guns to a brightly painted two-level glow-in-the-dark arena, parents and children will both be itching to come back for a second or even third round after getting a taste of the Generations AdventurePlex laser tag.

Missions are given to players and the establishment coyly hints that there’s more than meets the eyes with their venue and says, “BEWARE….. the ARENA STRIKES BACK!”

Customers love the laser tag and were pleasantly surprised that they allow very young children to participate in games. In fact, laser tag is arguably the best part of Generations AdventurePlex.

If laser tag isn’t your thing, or you’re looking to fill your time before or after playing, test your survival skills with their axe-throwing. The attraction includes coaches to help beginners, and they claim that axe-throwing is the fastest-growing sport in the country!

Their bowling and arcade are also worth checking out. However, customers seem to agree that the laser tag is their number one attraction.

Planning on going as a group or have a birthday coming up?? They’ve got you covered!

The Laser-Plex package includes a gameplay card so you can hit the arcade after playing a round of laser tag with your group or party.

And if you’re feeling pecking, their extensive food and drinks menu will keep your belly satisfied during your hours of fun!

2/ Eby’s Family Fun

Address: 14583 State Rd 120, Bristol, IN 46507

Phone Number: 574-848-4110

Just a short drive from South Bend lies Eby’s Family Fun that prides themselves in being affordable, family-friendly, and of course, fun!

Their laser tag arena is 4,000 square feet large, which is not giant but still big enough to have a good time in. It also features multiple levels so players don’t feel like they’re playing in a single room. Players can expect to use phazer technology and get their heart-rate pumping in their energetic and fast-paced game.

Eby’s Family Fun has done a great job of decorating the venue. The walls are covered in glow-in-the-dark graffiti that was done by the aliens who have taken over the earth. “Planet Earth is Ours” is one of the many phrases you read as you walk through the laser tag space. Who knows, you might even run into a real alien!

You can also enjoy their roller rink and bowling alley during your visit! They have a modest arcade, too.

In terms of pricing, the laser tag is relatively affordable and gets cheaper the more games you buy at once. While there’s no age limit for laser tag, children must be at least 44 inches tall to put the vest on comfortably and play.

Players must also be wearing shirts with sleeves so tank tops are not allowed. T-shirts are fine.

Customers have generally been very satisfied with the attractions and services. They also appreciate the many discounts the facility offers.

3/ Fireflies Fun Zone

light-up laser tag equipment
Address: 219-929-4300

Phone Number: 1505 S Calumet Rd Chesterton, IN 46304

Fireflies Fun Zone is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a fun and safe place for kids to have a great time and enjoy a variety of family-friendly attractions.

While their laser tag venue isn’t the biggest or most elaborate, you can tell they’ve put a lot of love into the design and taking care of it. The venue is made up of a large space with several tall panels to create obstacles and maze-like pathways.

The sci-fi arena looks like a cartoon spacecraft. It’s brightly painted and light-up under the blacklights. We could see children having a great time here.

The laser tag guns and vests shine wonderfully in the dark arena and adults can accompany their children throughout the experience for very little. However, Fireflies Fun Zone does not recommend that children under six play laser tag so plan accordingly if you are bringing young children with you.

There is also a playground and arcade. The playground is a hit for very young children (under five). This is a super kid-friendly space and we can see parents with kids from 3 to 12 being able to bring the whole family here. There really is something for every age.

The food has also received praise for taste and price. All around, this is a perfect place for older kids to practice their laser tag skills and while keeping the younger kiddos entertained!

4/ Mega Blast – Goshen

Address: 2624 Peddlers Village Road Goshen, IN 46526

Phone Number: 574-389-6985

Mega Blast resides just down the road in Goshen. The laser tag and arcade establishment is affordable, entertaining, and great for the whole family!

Their laser tag venue is 6,100 square feet and is one of Goshen’s biggest attractions. The mission is simple, the United States and Russia are at war, and you have to bring the opposing country down with your fantastic laser tag abilities.

Which side will you choose? Will you play as an American? Or as a Russian?

Mega Blast has gone all out with their arena. The floor is literally glowing and the entire space looks almost radioactive in this post-apocalyptic space. Maybe that’s why the United States and Russia are going head-to-head here?

There are plenty of obstacles to hide behind and keep your position a secret from the opposing team, but there’s also plenty of space to run around and have a blast!

There are also several arcade games to play and even a pool table for some good old-fashioned fun. They also have air hockey if that’s your thing!

Mega Blast is the perfect place for wholesome fun at a great price and most customers would agree there’s not much to dislike about it!

5/ Slackers Family Fun Center

indoor laser tag with light-up equipment
Address: 1800 Pipestone Road M56 Benton Harbor, MI 49022

Phone Number: 269-325-7525

Are you a family? Are you looking for fun? Well, Slackers Family Fun Center might be right up your alley!

While this entertainment center is technically in Michigan, not Indiana, it’s only a 40-minute drive away!

The laser tag equipment looks well-maintained and lights up beautifully in the dark arena. Customers have expressed that they were satisfied with how fun the laser tag was and most seemed willing to go back.

If you like classic indoor laser tag, you’ll love playing in their arena. However, at the end of the day, it’s the players that make a game fun, not the venue.

Their laser tag system features transparent phasers and vests covered in light-up sensors.

Slackers Family Fun Center is especially great for families or teens looking to fill a few hours of a rainy Saturday with affordable and easy-going fun. In fact, most customers said that laser tag was one of their favorite parts of visiting the establishment. We always love to hear that!

The arcade and bounce houses are also well-reviewed, especially for younger children. You can enjoy rounds of Pacman, pool, and pinball along with bright and bubbly bounce houses that customers have said are quite clean.

What’s the Plan?

Now that you know what your options are, which one are you going to go for?

Will you stop by Fireflies Fun House with your little ones, or are you going to try out Mega Blast in Goshen?

Have you been to any of these establishments? What did you think? We would love to know!

Have fun, stay safe, and happy tagging!
